Louise Hooper is a highly visual, innovative and experienced director, making high profile features and dramas for BBC and independents. She has directed actors including James Fox, Patrick Malahide, Sigourney Weaver, Gwyneth Paltrow, Christian Slater, Joanna Lumley, and presenters; Griff Rhys Jones, Jeremy Paxman, Alan Yentob, Kirsty Wark, and Dan Cruickshank.

Passionate about creating compelling and visually arresting films – Louise shoots single and multi camera on HD and film, both in the UK and abroad, and writes and produces scripts. Based in London, her production company is Tickertape Films Ltd.

Louise has a degree in English literature from Edinburgh University, speaks fluent Spanish, and has lived and worked in Mexico, New York and China.
